Ingredients
1 loaf Brookshire’s Bakery French Bread, halved lengthwise
2 Tbs butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
4 green onions, chopped
24 oz cooked crawfish tails, drained and rinsed
1 tsp Tony Chachere’s® Creole Seasoning, to taste (VENDOR)
1 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese, room temperature
1/2 cup mayonnaise
3/4 cup white cheddar, grated
1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
1/2 tsp paprika
1 Tbs fresh parsley, chopped
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375° F. Place bread halves, cut-side up, on a baking sheet. Pull out some of the bread down the middle of each half to create a trench. Set bread loaf aside.
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and onions. Cook until softened, about 2 minutes. Add crawfish, and stir to combine. Cook over low heat for 2 minutes to warm through. Add creole seasoning and cream cheese. Turn off the heat, and stir until cream cheese is melted.
- Divide mayonnaise between bread halves, spreading evenly. Divide crawfish mixture between bread halves, spreading evenly to cover. Top each bread half with cheeses and paprika. Bake for 15 minutes. Let cool for 10 minutes before slicing. Garnish with parsley and additional creole seasoning.
